HANGINGROYD LANE
This beautiful old property based in Hebden Bridge was in urgent need of a facelift after the 70 year old lime mortar had failed. The house was given a new lease of life with British Gypsum Multi Finish plaster before being painted in a colour scheme sympathetic to its original.
WALDORF
HOUSE
A large scale, Gypsum and Lime plaster job on a historic, masonic lodge in Manchester city centre. This job was large in scale, with 14 apartments and all public spaces needing refurbishment. For the Lime plaster, a lime mortar and horse hair base layer was applied before being finished with a traditional lime plaster top coat.
HULLET
DRIVE
This render job was made neccessary when the clients garden wall had been knocked down by a car. The Surface Co re bricked and re pointed the wall before using a silicone, K- Rend, render in Champagne White to restore the wall, and the garden, to its former glory.
KIMBERLEY STREET
After a small leak coming through the ceiling the plaster had blown on both the ceiling and the wall. We took the ceiling back to timber and the wall back to brick before boarding the ceiling and bonding out the wall to the level of the existing plaster. Both patches were skimmed before decoration.
AVONDALE ROAD
This job required a full ceiling overboard and skimming. Due to its age, the ceiling was almost beyond repair so rather than taking back to timber, we decided it was more time / cost effective, to overboard and skim making it strong and giving the space a facelift.
HANDFORTH
A media wall we prepped and skimmed for Dave Timperley Interiors in Handforth, Cheshire. Media Walls are a great way of transforming a simple living space into something more interesting and unique. We can even add polished plaster for additional style.
CHEADLE
A silicone render job completed in Cheadle. We used K-Rend Champagne White applied over K Rend base coat to transform this normal outdoor space. We were even approached by the neighbours to transform their space after they had seen this.
BRAMHALL
A small but tricky job in Bramhall, Cheshire. This kitchen space had lots of little nooks and crannies that needed lots of attention to get right. The marble worktop was already installed so everything needed to be protected and kept spotless, as is always the case regardless.
NEWPORT ROAD
One of over 4 houses completed on this beautiful road in Chorlton, Manchester. This job required blown plaster to be removed, staff beads to be taken out and everything strengthened using render mesh to ensure these walls last in a busy household.
GLENDALE CRESCENT
This house had been completely flooded whilst the owners were on holiday so needed a lot of repair work. The Surface Co removed all ceilings, reboarded, skimmed and reinstalled coving in every room to bring it back to life for the owners.
CUMBERLAND CLOSE
This house was a bare shell upon arrival due to a burst water-pipe. Working with Fieldpark Interiors we installed modern insulation, vapor barrier, built new internal walls using Gypframe and reboarded all walls and ceilings before skimming. Cups of tea were provided by the loveliest neighbours.
SALISBURY GARDEN, NEWCASTLE
A bit further afield for this one, with a customer based in Jesmond, Newcastle. We removed an old fire place, all skirting boards and a dated archway, before bonding and skimming this beautiful living space. Particular attention was paid to the lovely traditional cornice and the huge ceiling rose.
ABBOTSLEIGH DRIVE
Another job for Dave Timperley Interiors. This kitchen space had been completely ripped out before being boarded and skimmed before Dave installs one of his incredible bespoke kitchens. The customer was a director of a home improvement show so expect our on screen debut soon.
MACCLESFIELD
A 3 month job working with Fieldpark Interiors, we dot and dabbed all walls and skimmed the entire plot of 10 new builds being built for Hall and Co in Macclesfield. Long days and nights to get this one completed but these lovely homes are now complete and ready for buyers to move in.
GATLEY
Board and skim of a beautiful extension in Gatley for a repeat customer. We've previously completed two bedrooms, a bathroom and a lounge for this customer and it was a pleasure to work on this extension built by Lewis Design and Build.
CHORLTON KIDS HOME
Time was of the essence with this one as we were reboarding and skimming bedrooms for children with particular needs in this incredible kids home. Perssonal space is important to these children so they need their rooms back ASAP. A special experience working with these kids!
