PLASTERING

RENDERING
Rendering makes a building look modern and beautiful. The Surface Co cover all aspects of rendering including K-Rend, silicone, sand and cement and monocouche.
LIME AND HERITAGE PLASTERING
The Surface Co has knowledge in many areas of heritage plastering including traditional Lime plastering and have worked on small and large scale jobs including a Lime renovation of an old masonic hall in Manchester city centre. We are firm believers in using old methods and top quality materials to ensure these surfaces are kept as they were originally intended.
POLISHED PLASTER
We believe that all surfaces are beautiful but we feel that some materials struggle to have the same impact as polished plasters. From mineral finishes like Marmorino, to metallics and even oxidised effects, if you want your space to stand out, then there is a polished plaster style for you. If you have seen a style you like, then we can make you a sample board or we can work with you to come up with a signature style to suit your needs.
MICRO CEMENT
Not many finishes are both so beautiful and durable as micro cement. This easy to maintain product makes any home look effortlessly stylish. This product can be applied to walls, floors, bathrooms and even items like cupboards and worktops. It also comes in a whole host of colours to suit any space. This is the product of the moment. The Surface Co are CimentArt approved applicators.
DRY LINING / PLASTERBOARDING
Plasterboarding is often the first stage in any plastering job and involves using a sheet of compressed Gypsum to form a solid surface to plaster onto. The Surface Co have lots of experiences of all elements including full house boarding / dabbing, to small ceiling overboards.
INSULATING
Insulating protects your space from the loss of heat and/or sound and is an integral part of any modern space. From natural insulations like Wool, to more up to date methods, The Surface Co can accomodate your needs.
WALLPAPER REMOVAL
An area in which many homeowners choose to do themselves, but soon realise is more difficult than first thought, we have the tools and equipment to make this job quick and easy.
COVING / CEILING ROSES
We can fit all types of coving / ceiling roses. From more modern, cheaper, gypsum based products, to far more intricate moulded systems. We can discuss options based on your preferences.
